Visa & Entry Requirements

Please be aware of the visa and entry requirements based on your nationality. We recommend that all international attendees check the latest travel regulations before planning their trip to ensure smooth entry into Indonesia.

Visa-Free Entry: Citizens of several countries can enter Indonesia visa-free for short stays (usually up to 30 days). Please check if your country is on the list of visa-exempt nations.

Visa on Arrival (VoA): Delegates from many countries can obtain a Visa on Arrival at major Indonesian airports, which is valid for up to 30 days. Extensions are available for a further 30 days if needed.

E-Visa: Some delegates may also be eligible for an E-Visa. Please visit the official Indonesian immigration website or the embassy of your country for more details.

Other Visa Options: If you do not qualify for a Visa on Arrival or E-Visa, you will need to apply for a standard visa at your nearest Indonesian embassy or consulate.

All visitors must hold a passport valid for at least 6 months.

Climate

In May, Jakarta experiences a tropical climate, which is typically hot and humid, with the city transitioning from the rainy season to the dry season. Here’s what you can expect:

Average daily temperature: 26 degrees to 32 degrees Celsius.

May marks the end of the rainy season, but we might still experience occasional showers.

Currency

The currency in Indonesia is the Indonesian Rupiah (IDR).

Dress Code

The dress code for all events is business casual.

Electricity/Voltage

In Jakarta, Indonesia you can expect the 2 pin socket and plug Type C and Type F

If your devices use a different plug type or operate on a different voltage (e.g., 110V), you will need a plug adapter and possibly a voltage converter.
